We went to see Dad & Sarah last week. It was a good trip. I got to get away and see a movie. I saw "Fool's Gold" and it was awful. Too bad, since that is probably the only movie I will see for awhile.
Ethan enjoyed seeing his Grandparent's. It took a day for him to get used to them again and his reflux has started back up, so he wasn't at 100%. I tried to take pictures of the lunar eclipse, but the pictures didn't come out. I also tried to take a picture of the million stars that are visible in the mountains. It didn't come out either. I guess I need a better camera for those types of pictures.
Here is a video of Ethan riding his Granddaddy's horsie.

My Little Pooper
Yesterday on BabyCenter, I read a thread a girl from India wrote. She just went home to visit her parents, and they potty-trained her 7 month-old in one week! They potty-trained him to go #2 only. I don't think they can control their pee-pee yet. So anyways, this morning Ethan has been a little constipated. He usually wakes up with a dirty diaper (#2) and he didn't have one this morning. So, before his morning nap, I sat him on the toilet. Lo and behold, he pooped and peed! I was so amazed, I almost took a picture, but I didn't want to gross anyone out. I called Oswald in to look at it. After his morning nap, I put him back on the pot and there he went again, pooping and peeing. I put him on a little while ago and he pooped again. Who knows if this will continue, but I will still try.
The picture up above is of Ethan in his golf shoes. My mom got them at Augusta National years ago when she went to the Masters. He is also wearing his golf sweater vest that Sarah made. Oz went and played at Augusta on Friday, so I took these pictures the day before because Ethan wanted to go too. He was all ready to go, but he's just not big enough yet.
The video is of Eli pushing Ethan on Eli's car toy. Ethan loved that car. He loves anything that can move that he can ride, just like his Tonka truck.
The picture on the side is one of the pictures I used to make Oz's Valentine gift. I took 3 pictures of Ethan holding the letters D A D and gave it to Oswald.

Love you!
Ethan and I stayed with Kim and Eli last night. Kim had to do something, so I had the pleasure of keeping Eli (22 months-old) for a while. I will post some pics and a video soon, but I had to write this post now. I am so excited for Kim. Eli told her that he loved her today!!! She was putting him down for a nap and she said "I love you" and he said "love you" right back. OMG!! We both cried.
Ethan, I can't wait until you tell me that you love me. I love you sweetheart!

Tooth #3 and other ramblings
I am officially counting the third tooth in. I have seen the edge of it for the past week or two, but today it is really visible. It is tooth #D. The edge of tooth #G has peeked through as well, but I am not counting it in yet, because I can feel it, but can barely see it. We had our Valentine's Day lunch at church today. Ethan and Joshua were playing on the floor and Joshua was scooting along side of Ethan. They looked so cute. I took a video that I will post. Ethan was "talking" to Joshua while doing it. Ethan really loves other kids.
Yesterday, Ethan stayed with HotMama and Papa while I went to a friend's baby shower. They had such a good time together. I wish that I had takens some pictures. I will have to remember my camera next time. Ethan loves his Granny. She sent him home with new clothes and toys and a $20 bill for his pig. Every dollar in there is from her and I am going to make him save it. His piggy bank is really a turtle, so I guess I shouldn't call it a pig.
Nin gave Oswald and I some homework. She wants us each to describe our life in 6 words. I have until tomorrow. Of course the obvious comes to mind. Mother. Wife. Daughter. Friend. But there is so much more to my life than can be summarized in 6 words. I would like my 6 words to encompass everything. Besides what I have just written, I am free, American, a woman, a Christian, forgiven, blessed, happy, loving, sad, I've made mistakes, big and small, I'm silly, a worrier, a lover, a dental hygienist, a student, the list goes on and on. Of course, having Ethan is the best part of my life. I will post whatever I come up with.
