Yesterday it was raining cats and dogs. Ethan and I were so bored. Well, I was, I am not sure about Ethan. I guess I didn't realize how much time I do spend with him outside. We spent a lot of time in his playroom where he was busy making baskets and trying to hit his golf ball. He picked up his plastic club and was trying this all on his own. I was very impressed. (See picture and video.) Since I was so bored yesterday, I was determined to get him out today. This morning we went on a short walk. When we walked by Don & Nin's house, he stuck his arm out and grunted, like he thought that is where we were going. After he woke up from his morning nap, I took him to a place called Monkey Joe's. It was a big warehouse-type building filled with inflatable toys. There was only one toddler section, but there were bigger kids in it so I was a little nervous about Ethan being in there. He was a little nervous at first too. He just wanted to watch everything for about 30 minutes. He then crawled out of my lap and ran around the place. I think he enjoyed that. He finally got in the toddler zone for a while and played around. I think he had a pretty good time and he is now worn out. Afterwards we went to Willy's for lunch with Daddy. Ethan learned to blow bubbles in his drink and was having a big time. Oh, I also have added a picture of Ethan trying to feed himself. He now wants to hold the fork and spoon all by himself. Trouble is, he can't pick the food up or get it to his mouth. That nasty looking food on his plate is chicken pot pie.
Okay, stupid blogger won't let me upload the videos that I wanted to show. Aargh.

sounds like a good day. Isn't it crazy how independent our little ones are becoming?

We have a pump it up here, like that. I haven't even thought about taking Cooper there, I guess we will have to try it out.
