Ethan had his 9 month well-baby visit today. He is 21.38 lbs, 29 inches long and his head circumference is 18. I think everything falls into the 75%. His iron level was good and everything is fine. He is healthy and very happy. He is not my chunk anymore. We were given the go-ahead to give him dairy. I gave him some shredded cheese for lunch and he seemed to love it. And then he spit up all afternoon. He has never tolerated milk-based anything.
I worked the past 2 days and had a really good time. Oswald kept Ethan and they had some male-bonding time. Oz didn't give Ethan his afternoon bottle yesterday - he said he didn't know he got one in the afternoon. He told me they walked to the soccer fields next door and Ethan was signing "milk". And now he knows why! I have never seen Ethan "sign" milk when he actually wanted milk. Oz said Ethan was waving to everyone too. Today, I took Ethan to the post office and he was waving at a cute girl behind me in line. It is so neat to watch him do that and say "Hey".
Nile's baby girl, Emmie was born this morning. I am so excited for him. I told him to get ready to fall in love! I can't wait to see pictures of her. Maybe Ethan has a future girlfriend in Emmie! LOL
What Ethan loves today: Waving. Mama (he is still being needy).
What Ethan hates today: The vacuum.

Eli LOVED (and still does) the vacuum! What does Ethan think of brooms? Imagine that - our children being complete opposites. The apples aren't falling far from the tees.
Smooches -

I know my Some-Timers kicks in on occasion, but I think I've read the current "Daily Blog" before . . . . . . Tennessee Slim (Uncle Bob)
